Not everybody is familiar with working with contractors. Here is just a typical project workflow:
- You contact me via the contact menu on my website and if you wish, you write some quick words about your needs.
- I contact you back to hear more about your project. If necessary, we set-up a non-disclosure agreement prior to that. We can start the discussions at the technical level if you are comfortable with that, but I am also used to hear about your research paradigm then propose an instrumental strategy.
- When I have enough information I send you a detailed technical and commercial proposition comprising extensive work packages description, associated costs and delays and any other necessary contract organization information.
- While you review the technical and commercial proposition, I am fully available to give explanations or tailor the work packages so that you meet your technical, delay and commercial objectives.
- Once the proposition is accepted, work starts as agreed. Reporting and intermediate deliveries happens as agreed.
- At the end of the contract, a formal delivery and demonstration is performed.
Usually I work from home, my workshop has everything for working efficiently. If necessary, I can perform a part of the work in your facilities. Report is usually by email, meetings in your facilities are possible if you wish. Usually, delivery and demonstration happens in your offices. I can also deliver training to your users and propose evolutions on the products I delivered.
When competences I do not have are necessary for a project, such as mechanical fabrication, I partner or contract the relevant parts of the project so as to propose a unique interface to my customers and simplify the project management from their side.
All this looks very formal? Hold on, I perfectly understand your needs can evolve during the project execution. I have an aerospace grade internal organization but offer a very flexible interface to the customer! I will always look for the best solution to satisfy your needs and make sure you keep a highly positive opinion of our collaboration.
Finally, I firmly believe in responsibility and working ethics. Customers satisfaction is my main objective and a non negotiable goal!
